Workshop on Bone Black: Memories of Girlhood

About This Event

In December 2022, the Working Group will read and discuss Bone Black: Memoirs of Girlhood (hooks, 1996). As a memoir focused on hooks’ girlhood memories, the text will allow the Working Group to reflect on their own origin stories as Black women working with Black girls.
