Professor Gillian Weiss (Case Western Reserve University), having just received a stack of awards for her recent book, will be presenting her newest research on the early modern Mediterranean in a lecture hosted in Syracuse's History Department. There will be related meals in which faculty and graduate students from multiple Corridor institutions will join the speaker to continue discussions of research and build bridges amongst institutions.
