Modern Philosophy Workshop

About This Event

This 2-day, discussion-oriented conference will feature 5 invited speakers and 4 Corridor faculty presenting papers on figures and topics in modern (17th-19th century) philosophy. Advanced Corridor graduate students working in the area will chair sessions and provide comments to spark audience discussion of the papers. The conference aims to 1) foster collaboration between scholars across several institutions; 2) foster advances in philosophical research; 3) enable Corridor graduate students to engage with scholars from institutions other than their own; 4) enhance the visibility of multiple Corridor institutions as great places for work on modern philosophy.
