About This Event

Informed by the National Writing Project's advice regarding writing retreats, this 2-day weekend writing retreat will begin on a Friday afternoon and end on the following Sunday afternoon. We will begin on Friday afternoon with introductions and individual goal setting. Our Saturday writing session will begin with our Writing into the Day sign ups, during which time each attendee will sign up for a thinking partner from a different university. Throughout the remainder of the day, attendees will write during dedicated blocks of time. Our wrap-up on Sunday will include a final writing block of time followed by a group conversation about writing challenges and strategies for success.
