A Voice of One’s Own: The Cornell Music Department Celebrates International Women’s Day

The Cornell University Music Department and Cornell Center for Historical Keyboards present a master class, two recitals, a Composer’s Forum, and a student workshop in celebration of International Women's Day.
On March 7, visiting artists Daniel McGrew, tenor, and pianist Michael Brofman will give a master class to undergraduate singers and pianists.
On March 8, student musicians will present a program of 19th- and 20th-century female composers, from Clara Schumann to Margaret Bonds.
On March 9, the visiting artists will join Cornell faculty Lucy Fitz Gibbon (soprano) and Ryan McCullough (piano) to premiere visiting composer Katherine Balch's estrangement. Balch will present on her work in a Composers' Forum on March 11.
