The inaugural meeting of the CNY Humanities Corridor took place on Wednesday, March 28, 2018. Representatives participated from Syracuse University, Cornell University, the University of Rochester, Hamilton College, and Le Moyne College.

The group recapped the Corridor’s history, reviewed the 2017 annual report, and made recommendations toward the Corridor’s transition to the endowment period. The Advisory Board also suggested changes to the annual Call for Proposals including updates to both the research clusters and working group categories. These recommendations aim to provide more options for faculty coordinators and broad, interdisciplinary participation across institutions.

The Call for Proposals for 2018-19 will be announced the first week of April. The deadline for proposals will be May 15, 2018.
