Collectively Envisioning Black Girl Futures
About This Event
Description: Butler (2018) notes that when Black Girl cartographers dig into the stories behind their research questions, sites, and implications, we find that we are face to face with our younger selves (p.2). Our Working Group is excited to host this dialogue on Blackgirlhood in conversation with the current exhibition at the Community Folk Art Center (CFAC) in Syracuse, NY. A small community dinner will follow.Sept. 23, 2022, 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
