5th Annual Symposium of Early Modern Hispanic Studies
About This Event
This is the 5th annual symposium of the Early Modern Hispanic Studies Working Group. Graduate students and faculty will present papers, followed by a keynote address given by Prof. Felipe Ruan (Brock University, Canada). The title of the keynote presentation is “Indigenous, Mestizo, and African-descended Petitioners in Sixteenth-Century Habsburg Madrid.” This symposium is a venue where senior scholars and graduate students from Central New York universities can mingle, network, and engage in intellectual exchange.
