Ruth W. Lo’s research centers on the intersections of agriculture, medicine, and architecture. Her current book project is an interdisciplinary study of the impact of scientific and technological developments on the physical, cultural, and political built environment in fascist Italy and its colonies. 

Before coming to Hamilton, Lo taught art and architectural history at Brown University, the Rhode Island School of Design, Roger Williams University, and Rhode Island College.
