People participating in CNY Humanities Corridor programs are publishing, and we’re doing our best to track those longer-term outcomes. Through our new Publications page, we shine a spotlight on books and journal articles that credit the Corridor for support at some stage in the projects’ development.
Whether through our annual Adirondack writing retreat, workshops, or collaborations via our Working Groups, humanities research is thriving across the region. Corridor-funded writing groups and works-in-progress panels are the most commonly cited examples of influential support during the writing process. Humanities research is often measured in publications, but the humanities research process is vitally important. Mentoring, constructive criticism, and encouragement from peers and colleagues along the way is truly invaluable. By providing the mechanisms and funding for cross-institutional collaboration, the Corridor supports scholars in advancing toward these tangible outcomes.
If you have a publication that was supported by the Corridor in some way, please let us know!
