The Changing Landscape of Academic Book Publishing
About This Event
Curious about how the publishing world has changed since you published your last book? Join editors from Syracuse University Press, Lever Press, Oxford University Press, and New York University Press for a candid conversation about evolving book publishing practices, including open access models, multimodal and unconventional formats, acquisition trends, and author expectations. Designed for faculty preparing second (or third) books or looking beyond the manuscript, early-career faculty are also welcome. The scholarly publishing world is continuously in flux: this workshop will bring scholars with pending book manuscripts up to speed on today’s publishing landscape.
This workshop is aimed at faculty in the humanities and humanistic social sciences. Real-time captioning will be provided.
