Book presentation of Disobedient Women: Decolonial Movements of Afro-Queer Puerto Rican Artists (University of Florida Press, 2026) by author Anastasia Valecce, associate professor of Hispanic Cultural Studies at Spelman College. The author will present the book followed by a Q&A open to the public. Students, faculty and the general public are welcome to attend.
