Update on COVID-19March 12, 2020
We write to wish everyone well, as we all engage in reorienting our work, daily routines, and personal lives in response to the global effects of COVID-19.
Given rapidly changing guidelines across the various institutions of the CNY Humanities Corridor, and given public health guidelines urging containment and mitigation, many of our campuses are moving to online teaching, curtailing travel, including domestic and regional travel, and scaling back or canceling public gatherings.
It is likely that many Corridor working group activities will not take place this semester. Thus, for Spring 2020 awards/activities that have not yet occurred, we will be following up with the relevant working groups directly regarding next steps.
The Corridor is built on collaborating, sharing ideas, and building community: these values and practices are paramount in times like these. Know that we are thinking of you, and that even as we begin to implement recommended social distancing practices for the next few weeks, we also have our wider community and can find ways to connect with each other digitally and support one another.
Sending good wishes to all.

PI, CNY Humanities Corridor
