Verena is a critical theorist whose work is situated at the intersection of political theory, philosophy, history, and conflict/terrorism studies. Her current book project examines subjugated knowledges of white supremacist and sexual terrorism to challenge ostensibly common-sense assumptions in current debates about these phenomena. She is also interested in methodology in political theory, with a special emphasis on archival and interpretive methods. She's also written about various aspects of Michel Foucault's work and about diversity and inclusion in the academy.
