PCT20: Marxisms Working Group

About

The Marxisms Working Group aims to connect scholars approaching Marxism from interdisciplinary perspectives.

  • Cornell University

Collaborative Goals

The Marxisms Working Group seeks to establish a space dedicated to interdisciplinary research on Marxisms that does not exist at any single institution. Although Marxism has remained marginal in many fields, we hope to support collaborative research across disciplines and institutions by bringing together faculty in English, Geography, German Studies, History, Industrial and Labor Relations, Latin American Studies, Sociology, etc. The Working Group will facilitate research in growing areas including Marxism and Critical Theory, queer and trans Marxisms, Black Marxism, utopian Marxism, and ecological Marxisms.
